This cross-disciplinary tour offers secondary school students a comprehensive experience that bridges science, technology, culture, and entrepreneurship in Dongguan, often referred to as the “world’s factory.” Students will explore advanced manufacturing facilities, visit heritage museums, and engage in hands-on activities that highlight how traditional industries adapt to modern trends.
Key destinations include:
First Tech Electronics (Dongguan) – understanding circuit board and factory automation
Yunzhiyi General Aviation (Dongguan) – exploring the future of low-altitude aviation in China
Dongguan Liaobu Human Resource Service Industrial Park – learning about innovation ecosystems and youth entrepreneurship
China Agarwood Museum – exploring the cultural heritage of incense in Chinese history
Yau Yat Mei Soy Sauce Garden – witnessing the creative integration of traditional sauces with modern food trends
The program includes accommodation at the Dongguan Hilton Hotel and full transportation from school to Dongguan and back. Guided by a professional team with education and industry experience, the trip is tailored for Secondary 1–6 students and aligned with Hong Kong’s EDB senior student exchange activity guidelines.
