Course Description
This program is designed to immerse students in the real-world environment of high-tech manufacturing. Hosted at the Advanced Manufacturing Centre in Tseung Kwan O Innovation Park, the tour provides a first-hand look at a modern Industry 4.0 production line and the tools behind microelectronics manufacturing.
Participants will visit the ProShop SMT (Surface Mount Technology) production line, explore EMUS LAB at the AVNET Innovation Base, and engage in hands-on workshops such as PCB etching or soldering. The program also includes an introduction to Hong Kong’s microelectronics industry, career development opportunities, and the core technical skills expected of future professionals.
Designed for students from Secondary 1 to Secondary 6, this program helps cultivate early interest in engineering, electronics, and innovation through active participation, professional interaction, and real industrial exposure.
